For advisers
Boards and general counsel are being asked what evidence of AI behaviour their entity, and its providers, can actually produce. Triodian works with large law firms and board risk advisers in alliance with Triodian, so your clients get the technical half without you building the method.
Three halves
Risk
Appetite, tolerances and triggers, in sessions the risk adviser facilitates. The board paper and the regulator conversation.
Legal
Reach under each agreement, grading, accountability steps, privilege, and the flow-down clauses.
Technical
The register, the evidence obtainable at each boundary, a finding per arrangement, and the technical annex.
Who does what
| Party | Role | Engaged by | Where it stops |
|---|---|---|---|
| The client | The CRO commissions the work; the GC instructs counsel; the board owns appetite. | n/a | Decides what, if anything, comes after the findings. |
| Board risk adviser | Fronts the board. Facilitates the appetite sessions and writes the board paper. | The client | Does not perform the assessment. |
| Counsel | Owns every legal call and the privilege position. Engaged before any finding is written; sees every draft first. | The client, through the GC | Gives the legal half only. |
| Triodian | Owns the method and the technical result. Builds the register, runs the assessment, operates the apps in the sessions. | The risk adviser for the register; counsel for the findings | Gives no legal advice. Presents no product. |
| Independent checker | Checks the assessment: is it sound, and are its findings supported? | Counsel, separately from Triodian | Builds nothing. Gives no legal advice. |
Commercial principles
Each adviser earns from its own half of the work.
That keeps each recommendation clean and each adviser's independence visible to the client.
Advisers and counsel may comment on the technical annex, not change it.
Contracting, scope and liability are settled together before a pilot starts.
A pilot
01
An existing client with a sponsor, and AI inside at least one material provider.
02
A representative set of arrangements. Not the whole estate.
03
The technical half, fixed fee, with appetite sessions alongside.
04
The register, a finding per arrangement and a technical schedule. The client decides what comes next.
Not in the pilot: gap filling, products or implementation. Those are separate decisions after the findings.
Under NDA
So the decision rests on the method and the apps, not on a presentation.

How it scales
The same seven questions, register and evidence ladder at every client.
Counsel's clauses and the technical schedule become the starting point for the next client.
A provider that produces the evidence once can give it to every client it serves.
Advisers facilitate, advise and check under the method; Triodian operates the instruments.
